Full Truckload (FTL) and Less than Truckload (LTL) Transportation

ANLOG Logistics provides Full Truckload (FTL) and Less Than Truckload (LTL) transportation services in alignment with international standards and superior service quality, ensuring the most suitable solutions for our clients’ cargo volumes and budgets. With our next-generation fleet and expert team, we offer tailor-made solutions by managing your logistics processes from end to end.

Full Truckload (FTL) Transportation

Full Truckload (FTL) refers to the organization of bulk shipments that originate from a single point and are delivered to a single destination, fully occupying a vehicle’s volume or weight capacity through the allocation of a dedicated vehicle.

Advantages and Economic Benefits of FTL

Full Truckload transportation is the most suitable model in terms of logistics cost and risk management:

  • Cost Efficiency: FTL is generally the most economical option compared to shipping the same quantity of products via standard cargo or warehousing services. This enables the efficient utilization of your operational budget.
  • Minimum Risk: Once collected, your products undergo no loading, unloading, or handling (transshipment) until they reach the delivery address. Due to this direct transportation model, the risk of damage or loss is kept to a minimum.
  • Maximum Speed: Since vehicles are not required to wait for dispatch or make additional stops, FTL services offer a significantly faster delivery guarantee compared to other alternatives.

Less Than Truckload (LTL) Transportation

Less Than Truckload (LTL) Transportation (Partial Shipping) is the logistics of consolidating shipments from different customers on the same route into a single vehicle (truck, light truck, or semi-trailer). This model provides economic benefits for our clients whose cargo volume does not require a full vehicle.

ANLOG Logistics Assurance in Partial Transportation

We understand concerns regarding the potential mixing of cargo in partial transportation, and we implement a systematic process management to eliminate this risk entirely:

  • Route-Oriented Loading: Your cargo is meticulously loaded according to the unloading sequence along the route (the first item to be delivered is loaded last).
  • Inventory Tracking: We maintain a detailed inventory of your products and equipment on your behalf. This ensures a flawless unloading and delivery process in line with the inventory prepared sequentially for the route.

Partial Calculation Methods

Pricing in partial transportation is conducted based on international logistics standards. Calculations are made by converting either volume or weight, whichever is greater. Our primary metrics are:

  • Cubic Meter ($m^3$) Based Calculation
  • Weight ($kg/ton$) Based Calculation
    • LDM (Loading Meter) Based Calculation LDM: The expression of the length occupied by a cargo within the vehicle in meters. (Example: $1\ LDM = 1\ m$ length $\times$ vehicle width $\times$ vehicle height section).
    • In road transportation, the standards of $1\ m^3 = 333\ kg$ and $1\ LDM = 1750\ kg$ are taken as the basis.
